Laboratory Certification and First Harvest
After several months of cultivation, Al Manakh Bio Farm began to bloom. In September, the project received official laboratory approval from the Arab Center for Engineering Studies (ACES) confirming that the produce was organic and safe for human consumption.

Recycled Paper Clay Workshop
On Saturday 19 November, Juhi Chaand of Quarter Moon Studios will lead a workshop at Al Qasimiyah School to introduce participants to recycled paper clay, a biodegradable material she developed for her collection at the SAT Design Store. Participants will learn about this material by mixing paper waste with natural ingredients—such as flour and clay—to sculpt and mould their own pieces to take home.
