Home Gardening Workshop
Residents of the neighbourhood of Al Manakh visited SAT headquarters for an evening workshop on home gardening. The workshop, led by organic farming expert Mohamed Aissaoui, encouraged participants to maintain home gardens in an urban context, parallel to the development of an urban farm at the Triennial headquarters as part of Al Manakh Spaces initiative. The proposed urban farm intends to act as a site for learning, and to facilitate broader conversations regarding the challenges that urbanity poses to achieving self-sufficiency in food production.
